I recently met Ann Torrence at a photowalk in Salt Lake City Utah. She is a great photographer and is working on a book called US 89: The Great Western Road Trip. It documents all icons, treasures and travelers along highway 89.
She is compiling a list of some of her favorite road-tested restaurants along the highway. I mentioned that we have a family cabin in Thayne Wyoming, which is on highway 89 and that I would give her a review of one of our favorite restaurants.
We love to eat at Tootsies Take or Bake Pizza (photo above). Even though the name sounds like they only serve pizza they provide sandwiches on fresh homemade bread. They are served hot and come in just about any variety you can imagine. We also enjoy the fresh homemade bread while waiting for our sandwiches.
