I've set some goals for myself this year. One of those goals is to do a project that will challenge me to be a better photographer and to understand my equipment better. I purchased a Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens a while ago and haven't used it much so I decided that I would take at least one photo a day with my 50mm lens for 50 days. I don't want to constrain myself to just one photo a day, I will most likely be taking multiple photos a day and sharing those in a video. I don't have a set schedule for the videos but will most likely be weekly.
The photos in this video were taken from April 1st - April 7th.

I like the idea behind the 50/50 project. It sounds like a great way to get yourself out there and learning the equipment and exploring ways to be creative within a single tool. Great set for this week.
This is an excellent project! I actually did a post today about the 50mm f/1.8 versus a kit lens. I LOVE my 50mm and I leave it on my camera body. After I finish my weekly challenge, I may have to snag your 50/50 idea. :)
Scott, this is awesome. What a great video! Cannot wait for the rest! I've got a nifty fifty too, and I love it. I shoot more with it than any other lens.
