Project [52] - twenty one

Pisa is city in Tuscany located in central Italy.  The leaning tower of Pisa is well known throughout the world so I apologize for the boring photo above.  I'm sure it's just like all the other thousands of pictures that were taken that day.  Whenever I visit famous landmarks I always try to find a location that gives me a different vantage point.  This place has been photographed so much that I had a hard time finding something that I considered unique.  I was able however to capture a few images that I considered unique that I am sharing today.  The first image is the traditional shot that everyone takes as the pass through the main entrance.  It's a great site to see these massive buildings as you round the corner.  The second image was taken with a very wide angle lens (16-35mm).  I was able to stand about 20 feet away from the bell tower to get this shot.  The tower stands at around 183 feet so I was pretty impressed with my full frame camera and this wide lens.   The last shot was taken with my iPhone 4 and processed with Cameramatic app, still a traditional angle but I liked what the iPhone was able to capture.

I like all three of these for the unique presentation of a well known visual. Well done!
