Update: If you thinking of buying an Acadia, be sure to get the HUD. Whenever my wife "lets" me drive her Acadia I'm very disappointed when I get behind the wheel of my car. It's one of the best features offered on the Acadia.

After ten years of driving a Chevrolet Suburban, my wife and I decided it was time to get a new car. We fell in love with the new GMC Acadia. One of the many features we love is the head-up display, HUD or heads-up display.

While driving home one evening on a fairly empty road I was able to capture this image. My camera wanted to focus on the blue car a head of me but after forcing the center focus point on the numbers it was easy to capture the display.
