One of my goals for this year was to carry around a camera with me at all times. It's almost impossible to carry around my big SLR so I spent a few weeks researching and came across the Canon SD780 IS. My criteria was good quality, reasonably priced and small. I was lucky enough to get all three. Yesterday I went on a walk around the Salt Lake Library on my lunch break and took a few samples. So far I'm impressed with the image quality and the compact size of this point and shoot. I felt a little awkward using it at first but given the need it's a perfect fit for my pocket.

I got my wife (well, really myself...) the same camera for Christmas. Great little camera. Love the photo quality.
I've not been following your blog long, but I love what I've seen so far. These are great photos with the compact. Do you intend using it for iStock submissions?
@Dave Thomas. I have a Canon 5dMII for my iStock work. This little guy is just for fun and to have on me at all times. My dSLR is a little big to be packing around all the time
