While driving through Freedom Wyoming a few weeks ago I couldn't help but notice this post office. I found it odd that the window in the right has bars and drapes. I'm guessing that the right half is a residence and the left is the post office, not a bad commute. The image below is directly across the street. I like how both buildings are competing with each other with the red theme. And to make it more interesting, the street where I'm standing is the state line. The post office is in Freedom Wyoming and the Garage is in Freedom Idaho. Two towns with the same name from different states separated by a two lane street.

A Town Called Freedom

I spent some time this summer in the Canadian town of Lloydminster. Seems much larger than Freedom, but a similar idea - the main road separates Lloydminster, Saskatchewan and Lloydminster, Alberta.
Great photos, keep up Project52!
Those buildings are great--full of character and 'years'
I've never been out West but I'd love to go one day
I know a wonderful woman who lived not far from here. Was very appreciative of the photo..so many memories..
