Project[52] - twelve


I was able to attend a free seminar taught by Doug Sims this week on using Photoshop.  Doug geared his presentation towards editing portraits using Photoshop and Photoshop Elements.  Doug was able to show us some of his tips and tricks he uses for his portrait work.  You can check his work out here.  Doug also co-runs the Photographix Camera Club.  I've been involved with his group for a while and enjoy attending events when I can.  I enjoy rubbing shoulders with other photographers who are willing to take the time and share their knowledge with others for free.

This week was a milestone for my Dad, he celebrated his 70th birthday.  All of our family was together and it was fun spending time with them.  I recently bought a ring flash and was able to capture some fun images of my crazy family.  I used my lensbaby fisheye lens with the ring flash attached to my strobe.  I've included a few of my favorite images from the night:
